hey, quick question for anyone who's been down this road
i've been using a bunch of different ai tools for technical work — mostly reverse engineering, malware analysis, and some pentesting documentation. nothing wild, just standard defensive security stuff. but i'm hitting a wall with the usual suspects. chatgpt, claude, even some of the "uncensored" web alternatives... they all still trip over themselves the second you ask for anything that isn't completely sanitized.
i'm not trying to do anything sketchy, i just need something that can handle raw technical discussions without turning into an ethics lecture. like, if i ask "how does this exploit chain work" i want an actual explanation, not "i cannot provide information that could be used to harm systems." it's for learning and research.
i've tried a few of the popular "jailbreak" prompts and custom frontends but a lot of them still feel like there's a hidden filter that kicks in at random. or they just get incoherent when you push past surface-level stuff.
so — anyone found a service or model that actually stays consistent? maybe a specific api, a lesser-known platform, or something that didn't get neutered? links are fine, tor is fine too if that's where it lives. just looking for something that treats technical questions as technical questions, not as moral dilemmas.
appreciate any pointers. thanks.
