hey all, there is a Point of Sale system at my work that is literally runing Windows POSReady Embedded, a version of XP. I have complete admin access, and was wondering if anyone had the knowledge to write a program capable of stealing the dumps from it, or if this is even possible.
I read about some old 2010-2015 POS hacks that were stealing RAM data, and uploading customer info to servers. I figured this might be possible since we are running a stupid old system with just a regular mag stripe reader thats plugged into the PC. I would be able to install, plug in, and do whatever is needed for the program.
