- Persistence and resilience : locker retries failed operations with exponential backoff and jitter , overwrites sensitive data in memory (secure_wipe) and files (overwrite_file) before deletion , also preserves original file timestamps after encryption to avoid suspicion , Stay in working mode feature (Task_Manager) , stick in Start-up apps to stay working after restart device
- Propagation : Locker recursively scans directories (up to MAX_DEPTH) using a randomized breadth-first approach , uses a thread pool to encrypt multiple files concurrently, skip .exe and .[encrypt] files for (encrypt-security)
