RAR File Hack Without Password

I'm trying to crack a .RAR file that's got a password on it, and I'm not looking to brute force it or use a dictionary attack. It either takes wayyy to long or just have not been successful. I've heard about things like rainbow tables, hybrid attacks, and maybe even some kind of exploit in the RAR algorithm itself. Are there any tools or methods that can bypass the password without guessing? I've read about using known plaintext attacks, if I can guess part of the content, maybe I can reverse engineer the password. But how do I actually do that? Are there any specific tools or scripts that can help with that? I'm not looking for a guaranteed win, just a solid strategy that's more sophisticated than the usual methods. Please help!
